GLBTQ Advisory Youth Group
Description: A youth-led support group for GLBTQ youth across P.E.I.
Goal: To create a supportive and healthy environment for GLBTQ youth and their friends and family; and to increase youth and community knowledge and understanding about the issues that GLBTQ youth face in P.E.I.
Services: Drop-ins; resource library; education sessions and workshops on coming out, GLBTQ issues, and addressing homophobia; and referrals.
Youth Involvement: A Youth Committee provides input and feedback on activities, and attends monthly meetings and training sessions.
Age Range: 14–19
