I heard I can die if I mix recreational
drugs and my medication - is that
true?
When you are taking HIV meds, the
potency of recreational drugs is higher.
So you may end up getting higher,
faster and longer than if you were
not on HIV meds. If you are going
to use recreational/party drugs while
on meds, you may want to think about
using fewer and less party drugs.
Do not skip or reduce your HIV medications.
