No, there is no drug that can get
rid of HIV once it’s in your
body. You may have heard about something
called Post Exposure Prophylaxis or
PEP. This is a combination of drugs
that have been used to help prevent
the HIV infection if you have been
exposed. You should talk to your doctor
about this if have had an exposure
to HIV (by having unsafe sex or sharing
a needle or at work through a ‘needle
stick’ in a hospital or clinical
setting).
