How do I know when I am ready
to take meds?
When your CD4 count drops to between
200 and 350 cells, you should start
thinking about taking HIV medications
and have your immune system monitored
closely.
When your CD4 count is below 200 or
20%, you have a high chance of getting
other infections and diseases. At
this point, it is important to think
about taking meds.
