Is it easier to get an STI if I have HIV?

No. But since HIV weakens your immune system, it can make other STIs, like herpes, gonorrhea and venereal warts, a lot worse or it can make outbreaks more frequent.

But it's not the end of the world if you get one—the sooner you know you have it, the easier it is to treat.
