Is there a cure for HIV?

There is no cure for HIV.

Scientists are working really hard to cure HIV/AIDS.

People who have HIV can live a long time and stay healthy for many years. There are several treatments that can slow down HIV. Some people on these treatments feel very healthy and can fight off the virus for a long time.
